The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Regret...

Breaking news:

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge regret to inform us that they will not be in London to welcome us on Sunday (as they are currently visiting our Canadian neighbors).

Let us take this moment, however, to consider our own transatlantic flight. May we emerge from the plane as lovely as Her Grace has done.

Preparing for our adventure

It wasn't so very long ago that we bid a fond farewell to the Ursuline High School Wimbledon delegation: tearful goodbyes after a prayer service and a lunch of southern comfort food; figuring out how to transport cowboy hats from DFW to London; and one last goodbye from Ms. Nipp and Ms. Alexander at security.

Last night, at Ursuline Dallas, we held our final planning meeting with the delegation and their parents.  There were some cheers from the girls (and some groans of envy from their parents) as we took a peek at our itinerary.

Wimbledon girls: we are so excited to see you again and to meet new friends.  UA Dallas girls are scrambling around with last-minute packing (and, let's not lie, a lot of last-minute shopping).

So, with passports in hand, we will board our overnight flight on Saturday.  Please follow our blog for highlights of our exchange.  We'd love to read your comments!
